ADRION PORTODIMARE partners met in Split, Croatia

The first training workshop of the Interreg ADRION PORTODIMARE project was held on 22 and 23 October 2019 at the premises of the Atrium Hotel, in Split, Croatia. The meeting was organized by PAP/RAC and Emilia-Romagna Region, as a lead partner. Representatives of all 11 project partners from six Adriatic-Ionian countries (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Greece, Italy, Montenegro and Slovenia) participated at the workshop. During the workshop, the Geoportal was presented as a common platform for data, information and decision support tools focused on coastal and marine areas of the Adriatic-Ionian Region. PORTODIMARE Geoportal will support the implementation of the ICZM Protocol; the Maritime Spatial Planning in the area; and the Action Plan of the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR). Seven Modules that were developed within the project were elaborated in detail, together with the practical implementation on the pilot actions. The workshop was followed by the 3rd Steering Committee meeting of the Project.
