The first Land-Sea Forum of the Var County (CAMP France), opened to coastal stakeholders, practitioners, decision makers and the civil society, will be held on 31 March 2016, and will take place in the town of Grimaud. The Forum aims to promote the emergence of a genuine community of destiny built around the ICZM principles.
During this first Forum, the discussions will focus on coastal risks (coastal erosion and marine flooding), harbours and navigation basins, as well as archipelagos of excellence. Two issues will be central to the debates: the first on how to build together a land/sea community and the secon on how to bridge the gap between knowledge and decision making.
