28.10.2017

At the second Mediterranean Conference "Biodiv 2017" organized by the Association for the Conservation of Biodiversity in the Gulf of Gabès (ASCOB-Syrtis), in collaboration with the SPA/RAC, held in Monastir, Tunisia, from 28 to 30 October 2017, Mr. Moez Shaiek presented his essay on the ICZM in the Bay of Monastir. He prepared this essay in the framework of the MedOpen ICZM online training course organized in 2016 by PAP/RAC for the advanced students. His work, in cooperation with Ms. Asma Ben Abda, details a draft ICZM Plan, based on a precise analysis of relevant stakeholders and describes the process of an integrated and ecosystem-based management of the Bay of Monastir. From theory to practice, the next step forward  will be the implementation of this ICZM plan! Read more about this essay at « Biodiv 2017 » and about PAP/RAC online course at MedOpen.
