CORMON Coast and Hydrography focused on the future IMAP steps

The CORMON Coast and Hydrography meeting that was held via videoconference on 25 November 2021 brought together participants from 16 CPs, representatives of some of the MAP components and PAP/RAC that organised the meeting. The main objectives were to discuss and provide guidance on the draft assessment criteria and the Guiding document for its application for the CI 16 on coastline; to inform the meeting on the latest development on the Candidate CI 25 “Land cover change” and on the implementation of the EcAp MED III project, its component on hydrography in particular; and to present and discuss the structure and the concept of the 2023 Mediterranean QSR. The CPs were reminded on the need to provide monitoring data and to nominate contacts for uploading the data to the IMAP Info system. At the end the Conclusions were adopted that will guide the Centre along the IMAP implementation steps in the following months.
