MedOpen launches once again with a new course on coastal vulnerability studies

PAP/RAC successfully launched a new edition of its MedOpen online learning programme with an introductory session dedicated to the course on coastal vulnerability studies.

The session gathered 28 participants from all MedProgramme countries and beyond, reflecting the growing interest in strengthening capacities on coastal resilience and climate-related vulnerability assessment across the Mediterranean region.

During this first meeting, participants were introduced to the course structure, thematic content, learning methodology, and technical aspects related to the MedOpen platform. The course aims to provide practical knowledge and regional experiences to support integrated coastal zone management and informed decision-making in the face of increasing coastal pressures and climate change impacts.

This new edition confirms, once again, the important role of MedOpen as a regional capacity-building initiative bringing together experts, practitioners, and institutions from across the Mediterranean to exchange knowledge and foster cooperation.

PAP/RAC warmly welcomes all participants and looks forward to the weeks ahead of learning, discussion, and collaboration.
